TVersity Works!

I finally got around to testing TVeristy out, and it does stream Shoutcast streams to my Xbox 360. I had to add the stations via the 'Audio URL' option in the TVeristy and give them a name, and the stations show up in my playlist listings in the music selection area of the 360 console.

One note - I did have to select a 'new computer' when going to the music player in Xbox 360 (hit the x button right after you select Play music on the music and media blade in the Xbox 360 console). I stream my mp3's via the Zune software, and both show up as a separate 'computer' to play music from in the setup options. Because Tversity only picked up about 15% of my local mp3 playlists (for my mp3s stored locally on my desktop), I now only use it for internet radio, and use the Zune sharing for my local mp3s. While it's far from a perfect solution, it at least gets streaming radio to my entertainment center (and nice stereo) in the living room vs. having to confine myself to my office to listen (or worse yet, listen to internet radio through my crappy laptop speakers from the living room).
